I'm sure many of you follow Ben Blackwell's blog but if not, here is a post that has fascinated me for a few years now.
I'll use this forum topic to show my humble attempt at chasing these rarities...

So on the list...
#1 and #5, these were tough to get. Notice from the similarities that Dave Buick created both these hand made sleeves.
Both one of 15 made... too bad they aren't both worth the same...
#1 White Stripes - Hand Painted Lafayette Blues
#5 Clone Defects - Scissors Chop Handmade Sleeve
Transparent vinyl and all, recorded by Jack White III, enjoy...
#7. Talk about impossible to find. Most people don't even know there was a rocket with the first few given out. From the heart of Detroit...
One of 10-15. See Blackwell's blog for more info.
#8. Probably the easiest of these to find, but not that easy. 80 out there says the Wizard...
#9. This is just pure fun... One of 50.
And while we are on MAMA022... here is my copy of an alternate version that appears to be uber rare.
And back to #5... Here is a 1/1 Timmy V-Lamp cover made in 07" as an alternate cover for Scissors Chop.
#2,3,4,5,10 still are on my hunt list. Maybe one of you fine collectors reading this can help me out?
Also, on Blackwell's "Close but no Cigar:" list, I seem to have found two:
Both the Von Bondies blue vinyl 7" and Hentchmen "Teenage Letter" were put out on Eric Silvenis label D-WreckED-hiT.
Very hard to find and some really cool stuff. Jack is credited on the Von Bondies for Producing and Recording.
One other mentioned on Ben's list but I thought was worthy is a 1/40 hand made record release sleeve of Clone Defects "lizard boy" EP.
I think it is the ultra limited, hand made, really obscure nature of this stuff that draws me to it. I must admit, I'm hooked.
I'll update as I find more but I thought I had a significant amount to start my thread.
